General Differences

PGSM Live Action has everyone's favorite Generals. The Shitennou: Kunzite, Zoicite, Jadeite, and Nephrite. Like in Anime and Manga they work for Beryl. But this time they went through major changes.

Jadeite is first to appear in the series and is the one with little change. He keeps his hair the same as well as his personality. He is still the youngest of the Generals.

Nephrite is the second to come in to the series and unlike Jadeite he went through major changes. First change is his personality, he has a short temper. His hair is short and put in a strange way and is red. Also his out fit is the same shade of red as his hair. Like Jadeite he wants to please Beryl by finding the crystal.

Zoisite is next and he also went through major changes. To start off his hair style stays roughly the same but the color is white. (Like in Anime Kunzite's hair was white). So his clothes are the same color. He also plays the piano and his music can actually cause some major damage. It can create monsters or even link to his vitcim.

He is not loyal to Beryl but to Prince Endymion. He tries to get Mamoru to remember who he really is and actually does it. Zoi also wants to prevent the events from the past from happening again. And he tries to get the other Generals to remember that they have one master. Prince Endymion.

Last is Kunzite and he appears in the thirteen episode of the series. He is the only one that appears as a normal person. Named Shin and he had no memories of anything. Anyway Kunzite has black hair and a dark colored worobe. He also remembers the most about the past and how he and the others died. He tries to kill the Prince a few times but doesn't come close.

Well another difference is the senshi themselves. Here are some pictures of differences.

Ok, we'll use Sailor Moon as an example. In the anime/manga Sailor Moon is a natural blonde the whole time. But in PGSM she has black hair as Usagi and her hair becomes blonde as Sailor Moon.

It's the same with the other sailor scouts. Except for Rei and I believe Mokoto. Everyone else hair changes when they transform. Oh did I mention Tuexdo Kamen? Super CUTE!

Beryl...I don't think we need a pic.

She stays the same execpt in a flash back..in Manga it had her hair being black...it is red in her flash back.

Beryl wears the same out fit as ever so yah.

I forgot what his name is...but Tuxies friend..that runs the arcade...his american name would be Andrew. Anyway..in Anime they have his hair being blond and he has a girl friend.

In Live action...he has black hair...and is obessed with Turtles.

Motoki's his name and in the anime Usagi is in love with him at first. But in the live action, he's just a nerdy guy whose obssessed with turtles. lol.

Touching on what Amethyst had said, in the anime Motoki had a girlfriend, but in live-action he ends up becoming really interested in Mokoto after she gives him a "muffler", which is a scarf ((I had to say that cause I didn't realize that's what japan calls scarfs =p)) for Valentine's day and it ends up being his only valentine.

A fair warning though, this show is really addicting once you get into it. I have been up to 3am almost everynight watching the episodes.

Yes it is very addicting. When watching the show...if you don't understand Japanese...then find one that has english subtitles. Like the one ones that Nova put up.

Also..Important!

The show didn't actually stop at 49 or begin at 1, what do I mean you ask?

Well they made an Act Zero that bascily shows you how Venus became Venus. And even the senshi before they got their powers. Also the actorst that played the Generals play weird police men. Its quite funny to watch.

Also there is a move that takes place several years after the show ends.

It's called Special Act or something like that. Its about Usagi and Mamoru getting married. The senshi battle and use their powers one last time...and the generals make a return. I don't want to say more or I'll ruin it.

There was also an event they did some time when they were shotting the series. It was Kirari Dream Live. It involved the senshi, Tuxie, Luna, and the Generals. The girls did some songs from the show, and the person that does their theme song came in sang the entire version of it. The generals were trying to steal energy. It was very funny..you have to see it.

Oh one more difference. Instead of having Rini...they have Luna turning into a young girl, and then she becomes Sailor Luna. I'm afraid I don't have a pic.

The sites I posted I think the second one has the special act and the first one I know has act 0.

oh and here's a pic of Sailor Luna.

Another difference is Luna and Artimes aren't really cats, they are plush toys in PGSM.
